Harefield Ridge Wines are all about growing, promoting and distributing fine wines, food and beverages grown in the Riverina.

Market:
Our market is primarily capital cities and regional food and beverage lovers in Australia as well as those from overseas, with a special interest in China.

Aims: 
It is our aim to encourage relaxation and allow people to recharge their batteries in a typical country environment. 3R’s (Relax – Recharge – Refill). 

We wish to promote the concept of a country getaway, combining good food and local wines with a Tuscan theme - brown earth/green vegetation/red sky/ blue water.

Create and sustain the regional image as having/being: -

  • Fresh
  • Gourmet quality
  • Green/safe
  • Diversity of local products
  • Direct links between producer and consumer
  • Personal service and a casual country atmosphere.

Supply quality locally grown produce, including beef, lamb, deer, chicken, vegetables, fruit, cereals, etc.

Structure:
Emphasis is on personal contact between the customer and producer. This will involve produce grown on the property and include food and beverage producers from the Riverina, including value adders and distributors of Riverina produce.

Strategies:
Our strategies include our website with e-mail links to facilitate ease of communication, promotion through contacts, including - local council, airlines, wine magazines, advertising to local businesses by letterdrops, etc.

The utilisation of the natural environment is essential; structuring the project to maxamise the country views and includes an educational theme directed to the growing and making of quality food/wine while tying in the earth/land/sky connection and similarity with Tuscany/ Australia, - Lion On The Plain, (The Rock in the distance).

Tours through the vineyard on say horse drawn vehicles with audio commentary and the linking of the restaurant to the winemaking, (when the winery is further developed).

Emphasis on networking/teamwork with producers and retail/export contacts promoting recognition to the consumer, locally and further afield to the diversity and quality of Riverina food and beverages and the re-invigoration effect of the relaxed country atmosphere in quality surroundings
